I am beginning a brand new book out called Shaky Ground: What to Do After the Bottom Drops Out by Traci Rhoades. It is an invitation to learn from the broader Church and its history rather than one narrow slice of what we have experienced in our lives.
“Nothing in our shaky world surprises God, and it is Christ alone who has overcome the world.” (p. 14)
The invitation of this book is to anchor ourselves to Christ from what we can learn in the way of spiritual formation as we live in a very unstable world. The bottom WILL drop out in our lives. Being anchored to Christ will keep us in those times.
