I listen to a lot of podcasts and audiobooks. I came across a couple of older podcast series that had some history to them and I’ve enjoyed them.
One is called Presidential and it looks at each president in US history and each president gets just one podcast. It’s fun in many ways and certainly informative on folks I hardly remember, like William Henry Harrison, Warren G Harding, and more. I did stop after Obama, and wished I hadn’t listened to it because it was more journalism and less history.
The follow up series is called Constitutional. I am just beginning with this one and it is well done as well. It is about the writing of the Constitution and how history has impacted the adding of amendments, how certain clauses have been interpreted over time, and so much more.
