Our church leadership is praying through next steps of how we can help other churches pray and discern what the Spirit may be leading them to do in revitalization. 

There are “coaching” models, but I think more in the way of mentoring. The thought came to me this morning of this:

I    — Individualized
M  — Mindful
M  — Mentoring

It’s not a program, in that we come with ideas pre-packaged and say, “Here. Do this.” It’s to listen first, pray, discern, listen some more, and see what the Spirit will bring out of what we have done into the life of another church. Things we have learned can help others, but only when we have listened to the church, the leadership, and the community where the church is located.

Just morning thoughts. I’ll get over it later. 😉
