The more I have walked in the tradition of Lent, then through Holy Week, the more I have fallen in love with Easter Sunday. OH! RESURRECTION!
I get up early and put on songs of resurrection and power and wide open praise. For years it was Ron Kenoly and “Jesus is Alive.” I still dance around the living room to that one.
Here are two I am celebrating with today:
Resurrection life is MINE. He called my name!
And then, who can pass up Aretha Franklin? O HAPPY DAY!
Christ is risen!
