We continue to pray for all healthcare workers. Hospitals and senior living facilities are tightening up outside visitors and healthcare workers are seeing an added stress in this time.
“Almighty God, whose blessed Son Jesus Christ went abut doing good, and healing all manner of sickness and disease among the people: Continue in our hospitals and senior care facilities his gracious work among u; console and heal the sick; grant to the physicians, nurses, and assisting staff wisdom and skill, diligence and patience; prosper their work, O Lord, and send down your blessing upon all who serve the suffering; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.” (Book of Common Prayer, 2019)
We also pray for all those around the world in this time of pandemic:
“O God, you made us in your image, and you have redeemed us through your Son Jesus Christ: Look with compassion on the whole human family; take away the arrogance and hatred which infect our hearts; break down the walls that separate us; unite us in the bonds of love; and work through our struggle and confusion to accomplish your purposes on earth; that, in your good time, all nations and races may serve you in harmony around your heavenly throne; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
