Meditating on 1 Peter 1 I continue to be in awe of the precious faith delivered to us as believers. It simply calls for a response! Why… oh why… do we not respond?
We have a faith so precious is simply given by the Father because of his great mercy. It is so precious it never fades. My body wastes before my eyes over the year… but my faith grows in the grace of Jesus Christ. This is not something that devalues with time.
This is faith refined by fire. When fire hits true faith, it increases in value. This is the precious faith we have in Christ.
It is a faith delivered to us by prophets who knew they were serving us. Even angels long to look on what we have freely received.
It is a faith so precious… why do we fail to respond?
