We often by-pass the issue of abortion these days. It is interesting that in the confirmation process of Samuel Alito as Supreme Court Justice the liberals were upset with him over one basic thing: abortion. These are the same people who would defend Clinton’s choices by saying, “We’re not applying a litmus test.”

That being said, we have not taken into account the horrendous choices with abortion lately. A columin the Washington Times online drew me back into the quagmire, though. It is thoughtful, and at the same time horrifying. We need those wake up calls from time to time.

Interestingly enough, this pro-life columnist would have OPPOSED Alito’s nomination to the Supreme Court! You’ll have to read the very end of the column to see why.
