This is the gospel. The power of the Kingdom of God is not found in the army and the battles and the “war” we want to imagine. The gospel is found in the unrelenting pursuit of God to bring people home.

God does not give up on humanity. I cannot give up on those I know who need Jesus. It may be years… do not give up. Someone I may meet along the way and find them “rubbing me the wrong way” is someone who is on a journey where God is pursuing them whether they recognize it or not. So, why would I be a hindrance to that journey just because I didn’t like some way they treated me?

My task is to reflect the unrelenting love of God in this world. Sure, I will not be able to do that… but why should I keep from trying?

He has never given up on me. He will relentlessly pursue each one because of his great love.
