Moving through Daniel 4 and 5 with two very different kings and their responses to God’s word to them I find one central truth:

No matter the king, or the country, or the empire, or the system of government… NOTHING IS “TOO BIG TO FAIL”

Daniel, a captive from a conquered country, served a God who would deal with Babylon and then Persia. The systems of this world do not last. Our allegiance belongs to the Kingdom of God.
