One year ago we walked out of our house in Minneapolis for the last time. Our truck was packed and headed to Alabama. Life was about to shift in a major way.
One year later we find ourselves on the verge of new things.
This coming Sunday we will be received into the Anglican Communion by the laying on of hands.
I have been thrust into new work and have not preached in a year.
I have been thrust into racial justice work that is transforming my soul.
There is joy in this journey. My grandkids are such joy. Terri and I will celebrate 31 years of marriage.
There is also the exploration of ordained ministry in the Anglican Church and a journey of what future ministry will look like.
It’s amazing it’s been a year. My heart is full and my spirit is ready.
What’s next, O Lord?
