The notes that serve as reminders

I like wide margin Bibles because I like to take my own notes. There isn’t a wide enough margin for me to adequately do that over the years, of course, so I am thankful for digital Bibles as well. They allow me to keep expanding notes over time.

This morning part of my reading was in Psalm 146 and I saw a note in my digital Bible (I use Olive Tree for my main digital Bible) that was from the end of last year. It was a reminder of what God wanted me to be looking for in these next few months. Here I sit seven months later looking at this reminder.

Take notes. Jot things down. When you go back over those areas on Scripture, you get the opportunity to see what God has done… and what God IS doing in your life.
