Reading for today:
Psa. 69, 73
1 Cor. 12:12-26
When we first moved to Minneapolis, we had a truck stuffed full of our possessions and three small boys.
We came here by faith. It was a sense the Lord had something for us in the Cities and we wanted to be obedient. Twenty years later we have three grown men with the various stages of families, 2 grandkids, and a dog. We will be packing up in a couple of months with just the two of us… but somehow it still takes up a truck. Hmmmm.
We leave by faith. For 20 grateful years, I have tried to hear the voice of the Lord and obey his direction. Now he has asked us to do something different. As when we moved to Minneapolis we didn’t have a full picture of what that meant, this move is much the same way. We have a sense of where to go (Alabama) but are still seeking the Lord on what to do.
It is a life of faith. It is a sweet walk. His presence is so good!
May EACH of our lives know this sweet presence of Jesus as he leads us by the Spirit.
