The Lord has me praying and meditating through Isa. 60-61 and other places in the latter part of Isaiah. The past couple of days have been in Isa. 61.
My prayer today is focused on v. 3
and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
As I think of my church and amazing people who are doing extraordinary things, I pray for a sense of joy in their lives. We’ve walked through many tough battles and I pray for joy and praise to fill their hearts.
