N T Wright on Atonement

   I think Wright is correct to note that by-and-large the Western Church has very nearly forgotten what to do with the Gospel accounts in relation to the atonement. In its place, we have misunderstood Paul while using what we believe Paul is saying as our launching point for discussing such doctrines.
