It is often quite easy to think of the “struggles” of prayer.

It doesn’t happen all the time, but what a joy to sense His presence or get a new insight from Him.
To be able to look back on my life and see that I’ve kept my prayer/Bible time a priority over the years (though there’ve been many times I rushed on with my day or muddled through my quiet time-still I know that time of day is devoted to Him) brings joy.
