Seeking

In Advent we are reminded that he is the One who came seeking us.

It is also a good time to remember that in seeking us, our hearts are awakened. We then have journey… a call to go after him! It is joy in the journey to be enthralled with his beauty.

Some reminders:

⁸ I love the beauty^[c] of your house, LORD; 
   I love the place where your glory resides. (Psalm 26:8, CEB)

⁴ I have asked one thing 
   from the LORD— 
   it’s all I seek— 
      to live in the LORD’s house 
      all the days of my life, 
      seeing the LORD’s beauty 
      and constantly adoring his temple. (Ps. 27:4, CEB)

⁸ Come, my heart says, seek God’s face.^[a] 
   LORD, I do seek your face!  (Ps. 27:8, CEB)
