These past few days my wife and I attended our district’s ministers retreat. We had not been able to attend in several years and it was so enjoyable to be back. The event is marked by great preaching and a lot of time to spend with dear friends.

This year was marked by the opportunity to pull aside and just ask the Lord about ministry. One evening service I was able to grab a few minutes and pray during our altar time. It was refreshing as God reminded me of the vision he gave me for my church and my city years ago. It was a refreshing reminder. Stay at the task. Fan the flame. Keep on asking!
