I am choosing to learn more about the discipline of celebration. We have cycles of feasting and fasting. Easter can’t be one day!
Eastertide is a season in the Church going 50 days to Pentecost. I’ve found I can learn a lot about Advent and Lent, times of preparation, discipline, and repentance. But Christmastide and Eastertide, times of celebration, are not as well walked out in the Church, and, quite honestly, in my life. Easter can’t be contained to one day!

It is still Easter
Today is Easter Tuesday. We are always so quick to drop the celebration or continuance of an event once the day has passed. Being in a liturgical church has reminded me that Christmas isn’t one day but 12 that take us to Epiphany. Easter is a season of celebration from Easter Sunday to Pentecost Sunday.
