The deepest motivation is to do what is good and right.
There is a deep pursuit of being habitually attuned to the heart of God, longing to do what is right in the Kingdom of God. There is attentiveness to what is the fruit of the Spirit because that is where their mind has dwelled. They are knowledgeable about life, tuned in to what people need and going about Kingdom goodness into the lives of others.
There is very little care for getting their own way. They are focused on the needs of others. Others are highly valued. Dwelling on what is good and right, motivated by love as the deepest emotion, they don’t hesitate to do what is right on behalf of others. Doing right has become obvious to them.
Over the years my deepest desire has been to truly bring human flourishing to people around me. I want to be bring Kingdom goodness into the lives of others. I want to represent Christ so well that others will at least consider him rather than outright reject him because they realize I’m a “Christian.”
I believe in Kingdom goodness. I am not always successful in bringing Kingdom goodness to others. I let my attitudes and assumptions derail me. These are the things I work on as I desire to have the deepest motivation of my life to be one of goodness.
