All I have

There are some challenges I’ve given myself in the new year, one of which being more in the Word and less on social media. It’s all a work in progress.

May 2025 find me leaning in to hear the Spirit speaking through the Word. I want to understand his whispering to me on a regular basis.

Psalm 36 has been my meditation for a couple of days. The psalm speaks to my obsession with the noise going on around me. Yet, the need is to spend more time enjoying the presence of God.

Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the skies.

Your righteousness is like the highest mountains,
your justice like the great deep.
You, Lord, preserve both people and animals.
(Ps. 36:5-6, NIV)

The noise is nothing. Christ is everything. My heart needs its attention on the small thin voice of Christ and the Spirit. The noise screams for my attention, but I cannot succumb to those shouts any longer.
