He shall judge between many peoples
    and shall arbitrate between strong nations far away;
they shall beat their swords into plowshares
    and their spears into pruning hooks;
nation shall not lift up sword against nation;
    neither shall they learn war any more; (Micah 4:3, NRSVue)

We are a violent culture prone to “solve” our deepest issues through some violent upheaval. There is one who is the Prince of Peace and the vision of the Kingdom is the nations will stream to HIM to learn… and they will study war no more.

“no one shall make them afraid…” (Micah 4:4)

Some scholars may think that it is only in the future kingdom. I ask, “Why not now?” Why NOT pray to that end?
