Matthew 6:22–23 (NLT)
22 “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. 23 But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is!
A simple reminder: I must treasure Jesus. My heart cannot be divided. Out of treasuring Jesus flows life, passion, action. Out of treasuring the stuff of this world will flow another set of actions and values.
My heart can’t be divided… it only chooses on.
For the last third of my life, I want to reflect back, and for others to observe, that I had a treasure in my heart that filled my life. This is my prayer.
