The standard of judgment

“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” (Matt. 25:37-40, NIV)

The standard of judgment is determined by the mercy shown.

Can you believe Jesus didn’t ask, “Why should I let you into my heaven?” I mean, what was he thinking? And to not accept the answer, “Because I asked you into my heart…” is totally unthinkable! Outrageous!

Saving faith produces righteous works. You will see saving faith. In this life. And it will produce the fruit necessary for what is ahead.

To see Christ in everyone is the fulfillment of the great commandment to love your neighbor as yourself.
