He turned the desert into pools of water
and the parched ground into flowing springs (Ps. 107:35)

Lord, there are times we are thirsty and do not recognize it. Our lives are dry, our souls are parched, and we can’t quite get our finger on the pulse of what is “going wrong.” Yet… we are dry.

You are the One who turns deserts into pools of water. Flow over us with living water. Let the freshness of your presence carry us away. Pour out something new… something fresh… our lives and deliver us from the dryness of living without you.
