We want our church, Heights Church, to be that place where the weary find rest. We have our bad interactions with “the Church” in our lives. It could be that just about every American Christian has a story to tell.
But it doesn’t have to be that way. The church can be a place of restoration. It is a place of refuge. A place of worship and finding rest for the soul. In Christ.
Come home. You’re weary. Get here. Find rest.
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matt. 11:28-30)
We long to be a real presence of the example of Jesus in our community. This isn’t a “perfect” place. It is a “real” place. Come home. Join us in the journey.
