Faith and worship

Luke 7:36-50

Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” (v. 50)

The faith that saves is a faith that draws near to Jesus and lavishes love, thanks, and worship on Him. We cannot worship from afar. We cannot worship with retained dignity… The faith that saves us is the type of faith that does not cease kissing the feat of Jesus. Saving faith is not a one-time act but a lifelong obedience and submission. The faith that overcomes the world is a faith that has overcome self, cast all inhibitions aside, fallen at the feet of Jesus in unceasing devotion, and trusted that God’s will and way are best. — Dick Brogden, Live Dead Joy

One response to “Faith and worship”

  1. Faith worships at the feet of our savior. May we all surrender to Him and be filled with all He is and created us to be. Thanks for blogging.
