An Anglicostal Connecting to a Real World
One of my favorite voices in music has fallen silent. This song is from a film that didn’t get any rave reviews, but is nevertheless one of my favorites. (Put Denzel and Whitney in a film and I’m in.) It is also a song that is key to my own prayer life right now.
Yes, she was one of my favorites to listen to just for her quaility and fine voice. You ever shut the lights off, close your eyes and listen to her? To hear that clear strong voice that would move my inner soul and at times bring goose bumps… Great song by the way. I forgot about this movie and soundtrack.
Just her voice alone was amazing.
I fell “in love’ with her in the 80s. You could feel the pain in her voice when she sang “How can I know”.
She’ll be truly missed.

Loved the voice…she was simply amazing!
I wish she could have found her way in this world with more ease and less anxiety, but hope that she is now at peace.
