Knowing Your Life’s Path

I am finally carving out some time to read the Bonheoffer biography by Eric Metaxas.

Early on I am struck by the differences in generations and cultures. In our day of delayed adolescents, it is incredibly shocking to read these words from Bonhoeffer: “From the time I was thirteen years old it was clear to me that I would study theology.”

  1. How was it made clear to him… through his parents like George Muller’s father or did he have a clear sense of calling?

    1. I don’t get a good sense of it from the biography. It may be in some of his own writings. His parents were NOT in favor of his choice.
