Refreshed by His Presence

Being refreshed by the Spirit comes several ways for me. I am refreshed by the Word. I LOVE reading, studying, and praying through the Word of God. It lifts my prayer life and calls me higher.

I am also refreshed by incredible friends. Our time at the Ministers Retreat was refreshing because of great conversations with long-time friends. I am challenged by their thinking and love hearing what God is doing in their lives. One conversation in particular was hearing from a good friend how God eventually called him to ministry. It was a great story.

The refreshing of worship in song and prayer is a plus for me. During this retreat I was able to be refreshed by the worship and ask the Lord about the call he has for me in ministry. It was a great time to check in and ask what needed changing or if I just needed reminders. There are great reminders that come and I am energized again as I think of the things God has placed on my heart for my church and community. It is so fun to keep on dreaming. I needed those reminders in my ministry. As I begin to share them with leaders again, I am refreshed by the big challenges that are ahead.

There are things to pray for on a regular basis. There are specific models of ministry I want to ask the Lord about and certain anointings in the lives of others I want to see in my own life.

This is a great time of renewal and refreshing.

  1. I miss pentecostal worship….

    1. So what is worship like?

      1. In our church? It is more traditional and not as free. Still as much Spirit but maybe not as much spirit (if that makes sense).
