I heard this from Dallas Willard years ago: “The nature of the Kingdom is to ask.”

I am running into this over and over in John 15 and my study for Sunday. ASK. Ask whatever you will and it will be granted. Crazy stuff like that.

The Kingdom is about asking. It’s relationship. It’s not about getting an update downloaded to our brains. It’s about asking, seeking and knocking. If we don’t understand something… we ASK.

ASK to hear the voice of the Spirit.

ASK to be trained as an apprentice to Jesus.

ASK to understand the abundance of the Kingdom.

ASK to be used for the glory of God.

ASK the Lord to explain what you don’t understand.

Ask. Seek. Knock.
