Eventually, after all these years of walking with Christ, and all these years in ministry, I just may begin to get this. Or not.

But I come across these verses and I am blown away! (And this is just John 15 and 16 where I am studying for Sunday’s message).

“If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” (15:7)

“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that might go and bear fruit — fruit that will last — and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.” (15:16)

“In that day you will not longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.” (16:23)

I swear, my Savior, one of these days I will get it. I promise! Please let me keep hammering away at this!
