The farther south you go…

Dateline: Just outside Memphis, TN.

A couple of things are clear the farther south you go.

1. You can cruise the FM radio in search of music and get any kind of music you want… as long as it’s country.

2. What passes for coffee is amazingly open to interpretation.

3. There is nothing… I mean nothing… like real Southern sweet tea. THIS is what the North needs desperately.

  1. Cafe du Monde coffee is wonderful and you’re right–there is nothing like a cold glass of southern sweet tea!

  2. the FM radio stations only playing country would really bum me out. it would remind me of whe I lived on the Iron Range. only one rock and roll station and that’s it. Not even a christian one i don’t believe. I don’t think i ever had sweet tea. and coffee? up north if it didn’t tar a road it wasn’t coffee!!

  3. Now is it only country or is a mixture of country and bluegrass…. or even worse…just blue grass… ( Sorry H…. who is a friend who plays BG) Now tea I can live with….. we have a rule at home… my Tea cup is only ever rinsed in hot water and never washed….
