An Anglicostal Connecting to a Real World
There is quite a stir brewing concerning a woman from New Jersey dubbed “Jihad Jane.” A second “Jihad Jane” seems to have popped up. This one from Leadville, CO. I only wanted to comment on this because of the radio report I heard this morning. The mother of the second “Jane” said to reporters as she was crying: “I just want her to come home… so I can knock some sense into her head.”
I almost drove off the road laughing so hard.
It’s not a joke. The Malaysian government’s comment on this is that Sweden must restrict its freedom of speech. And there are millions of Muslims who agree with him.
My comment was not in regard to Jihad Jane’s actions.
I’m just saying she reflects a very disturbing phenomenon, namely the muslim influence on the West. Here in Sweden Jews are now moving out of Malmö, the nation’s third largest city, due to harassment from the large Muslim community there. Lots of similar stories throughout Europe.
I’m guessing if the Jews were forced out of Chicago or whichever your third largest city is, then you wouldn’t be making jokes on that particular topic. Would you?
As to the matter of what Jihad Jane is doing, that is a whole different discussion. I was loving the mother in Colorado due to having lived there for a time and knowing that attitude.
Yes, technically, but by making a humorous comment on this topic you’re sending a signal that this topic is fodder for jokes and nothing more. To say that it is a whole different story is a bit much since the only reason we know of these people in the first place is because of the murder plots. So I’d say these stories are intimately linked.
And BTW, you didn’t answer my question regarding Chicago.
