2012 and Thoughts on the End of the World

I just rented 2012. It’s so hard not to think about that song… “It’s the end of the world as we know it…”

Anyway…
Horribly formulaic movie. I know, what else should I expect?
Yet, another thought: For all the hand-wringing we do over the earth coming to a crashing end scenarios, the scenario they picked was the world just re-adjusted. Interesting thought.

I’m not a disaster movie kind of guy, so it was fun to get it and watch it with my boys. Except one watched it tonight and the other will watch it tomorrow, so I’m stuck with the end of the world two nights in a row… BUT I FEEL FINE!

  2. So sorry I missed it. You’ll have to tell me how it ends. LOL

  3. My wife and I just saw this over the weekend. Too humanistic. I guess some people believe this stuff.

  4. My advice regarding 2012 the movie: Don’t watch it! As far as disaster movies go this one is probably the worst one. Highly inaccurate, predictable and not-so-great special effects make it a must-not-see movie. Just my 2 cents.

    1. Well, this was posted months ago… and I had just watched it… so, too late. ๐Ÿ˜‰
