There are a couple of blogs I have not yet added to my blogroll, but enjoy reading. I will then follow some of their blogrolls, which led me to one by Michael J Gorman. This post on Theosis was a good one. I deeply admire the Eastern Orthodox tradition and this post answers some great questions.

You know, I wish there was a way to drop the tag ‘eastern orthodox’ and simply call ourselves ‘Orthodox Catholic’ – the Orthodox Church is just the Church of history without many of the pecular developments that came about later in the west. That’s particularly striking in a western rite Orthodox Church, where things are very much not ‘eastern’ yet very much the same faith and worship.
