The powerful promises of God

There are times I am so glad I made notes in my digital Bibles and dated them. They are reminding me of precious promises given not that long ago and they call me to HOLD ON and press in! Harvest is coming!

This was the passage:

Psa 92:12 — Psa 92:14 (CEB)
12 The righteous will spring up like a palm tree.
They will grow strong like a cedar of Lebanon.
13 Those who have been replanted in the LORD’s house
will spring up in the courtyards of our God.
14 They will bear fruit even when old and gray;
they will remain lush and fresh.

This was the note:

92:12-14 — Promises given on 10|19|13. God is calling me to ABUNDANCE. He is calling me to HARVEST. I have to step this up in prayer and HARD WORK! I cannot have the excuse of ‘I’m too old,’ or ‘It’s too late.’ God WILL replant. He WILL give you harvest when you are ‘gray!’

It is time for hard work and harvest.

The battle for the promises

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. — Heb. 10:23

We can forget what we have in Christ. We can be distracted from the promises. We can be attacked by the enemy, who wants us to fail in the promises given. The call is to PERSEVERE. “Getting” a promise isn’t the same as gaining a promise. Gaining a promise isn’t the same as holding on to victory. The enemy still wants to steal.

Every day, be reminded of his great and precious promises. Every day, give thanks. Every day, lay out those claims of God and be refreshed in HIS provision. The enemy wants you to forget. Be reminded of the great and precious promises… and GRIP THEM with tenacity! The enemy wants to steal. Jesus wants to pour out his abundance.

Stay reminded every day of the gifts and promises given to you!
