Learning the principles of the Kingdom of God

I truly miss the voice of Dallas Willard. He unfolded the richness of the Kingdom of God in such a humble, yet majestic, way. His vision for the Kingdom was immense and the longer I walk with the Lord the more of what Dallas saw many years ago unfolds in my own life.

Wouldn’t it be nice to NOT walk in fear?

This was the bold question he asked. THIS SERIES I found was from 2010. He asked that 14 years ago. Sadly, our conservative evangelical answer in America has been… NO. We thrive on fear!

We need to understand there is another way. It is the Kingdom of God.

Take the time to listen to these lectures. Listen over and over. Let these deep truths soak into your spirit. May deep call out to deep!

  1. Thank you for this, Dan. Like my favorite dead poet theologian, Rich Mullins, whose writings and songs I didn’t get into until after his death, so it is with Dallas Willard, who everyone I really respect looks to as one of the true great lights of our generation. I have The Divine Conspiracy and some other of Willard’s books, but they sit on my bookshelf unread because they are quite deep and I am relatively shallow. But listening to the man speak on such an important topic could be the thing that finally makes me be still and listen, not only to Willard but also to God. Again, thank you.
