Russell Moore has a new book out that is a look into our current spiritual climate in Evangelical America. As he has talked about the book leading up to the release, it’s a lot of personal story as well.

Like Moore, there was so much that blindsided me in 2016. I thought as I was seeing things around me, everyone else was seeing it as well. Moore was certainly in a more prominent place when these tectonic shifts happened, so it’s interesting to hear his perspective.
We are in a similar place in this election cycle. Honestly, I think Christian nationalism is more entrenched. It is bold and loud and not ashamed of its errant views. We need to be aware, stay aware, and still call out what needs to be exposed.
