While we lost a giant of the faith in Tim Keller just a few weeks ago, the giant I’ve missed is Dallas Willard. Another quote from him that settles my heart:

You must arrange your life so that you’re experiencing deep contentment, joy, and confidence in your everyday life with God.”

I must arrange my life in a way that brings in the goodness of God. When his goodness floods my life, the entanglement of sin has less of a foothold.

Arranging my life around prayer, intercession, Bible reading, spiritual reading, and good conversations along the way help from that arrangement that brings the fruit of contentment.
