Speaking prophetically to our times

On this Sunday, our church spent time reflecting with joy on a good story in our congregation and also mourning over the tragic events in El Paso and Dayton. The good news was a young man who had left home about 2 weeks ago had been located and was rejoining his family. What JOY.

Take the time to listen to one of our pastors speak prophetically to this culture and how we are to be image bearers of Christ. THIS LINK goes to our sermon page. Mark DiCristina’s message for August 4 is the one you want to listen to.

Our entire worship time was built around rejoicing and mourning. It was rejoicing in the lost coming home. We mourned over tragic deaths in our nation. The songs reflected it. Our prayers reflected it.

We did our best to walk in the image of Christ today so we can continue that walk tomorrow!
