The One Who Calls Us

(God) has shaped us, formed us, and with a special destiny in mind. — Emilie Griffin

God is the One who can tell us the reason for our existence. We search in vain every where else. The call is to yield.

This isn’t about submitting to some propositional truth and being able to spew it back for a test. This is about living truth. This is about the place where we have yielded… we are no longer our own little gods… and we then hear his voice.

 You, God, are my God,
    earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
    my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
    where there is no water.

I have seen you in the sanctuary
    and beheld your power and your glory. (Ps. 63:1-2)
