Last night in our prayer group we were catching up on the past two weeks. As I talked about what God was speaking to me concerning Ethiopia, I was listening to what God was saying to people in our church while I was away.

One phrase that stuck out as we talked was, “The deck is stacked.” Someone had heard that from a podcast, I believe. It was so powerful.

As a small church, we can think, “What can we really do?”

We face some exciting decisions, but they are ones that will be done in FAITH. We don’t have the “rationale” for every step.

Yet, in all of it, what we need to remember is WE are playing with a stacked deck. The deck isn’t stacked against US… it is stacked against the ENEMY. God will NOT allow the enemy to prosper. He will bring us to breakthrough and kingdom impact… no matter our size… if we will simply walk in HIS power.

The deck is stacked!

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (Rom. 8:31)
