As I pray for my friends Steve and John, two men of God, two ministers, who have battled physical attacks and it has seemed like “night,” I was listening to a sermon by John Kilpatrick.
The word he spoke that gave me a new boost in prayer was, “Usually a bad report is a prelude to a miracle. A crisis may be a prelude to a breakthrough.”
We must battle through the night, and often we are called to do so for friends who are not as able to battle at that point. In intercession, may we take up the “night watches” to call out to God and give him no rest.
Let these bad reports be preludes to powerful miracles and breakthroughs.
