We will actually have an Ash Wednesday worship at our Pentecostal church tonight and open up this season of Lent.

There are those who don’t understand this season and say, “I live in the resurrection, not death.”

I, too, live in resurrection power. But if every day was Easter… then no day is Easter.

My theme for Lent this year comes from a line in the hymn, Come Thou Fount. It is this: Tune my heart to sing Thy praise.

I come into this season listening… and ready to act in the power of the Holy Spirit.
