It’s probably just the blogs I follow, but I see a lot of postings about Halloween. How to be “missional” on Halloween… all the way to, “You’re not serving God if you even acknowledge Halloween!”

How about we think of REFORMATION DAY?

And ALL SAINTS DAY?

Too Catholic? Too Lutheran?

You prefer Halloween?

I look forward to remembering Martin Luther, John Calvin, Zwingli, Wesley (not all in the same time period, of course, but great “reformers” in their own right).

And I will light a candle for my favorite “saints”… just kidding about the candle lighting… really…
