I’ve related to readers before Dallas Willard’s take on the Lord’s Prayer.

As I think about how we can talk about prayer when it relates to the Sermon on the Mount, I began to think about my own prayer life.

I walk when I pray. I love pacing the sanctuary when I pray. I love being a bit outward and verbal when I pray.

Where did I learn that?

I didn’t read about it. I observed it.

When the disciples ask Jesus about prayer? When they saw him pray.

Friends, this is something that is more “caught” than “taught.” We can write on eternally about prayer, but how about coming to pray?

For our church, we have a prayer meeting on Friday night. 7 p.m. It only goes to 8:30 and we have music involved!
