What I tell my church constantly (which is what I learned from Dallas Willard) is this: The nature of the Kingdom is to ASK.

What is it you need? What is it you lack? ASK.

I love the New Living Translation on Matthew 7:7-8

7 “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.

Keep on asking… 

We give up too easily. I certainly do.

The Kingdom is for those who persist. The Kingdom is for those who will climb the hill with Jesus and listen to him… then go out and obey. The Kingdom belongs to those with dogged determination.

Keep on asking.
