It is Palm Sunday!

² Give to the Lord the glory due his name!
Bow down to the Lord in holy splendor! (Psalm 29:2, CEB)

The Lord is strong. He is mighty.

This is about his Kingdom coming.

The week of Holy Week is remembrance. It is remembrance of his suffering.

We also remember that this day was triumphant in the eyes of so many in the crowds, but their expectations were skewed. They were looking for Messiah in their image.

Messiah in our image will always disappoint because Messiah will not conform to our image.

He did not come as King they way they expected.

Get ready, friends, because our King IS coming… and he will again blow all our expectations. But it’s HIS Kingdom. We bow down.
