if you open your heart to the hungry,
and provide abundantly for those who are afflicted,
your light will shine in the darkness,
and your gloom will be like the noon. (Isa. 58:10, CEB)
When do we find freedom in our own lives?
We all live broken lives in some way. Yet, in Christ, we have the opportunity to find wholeness. Part of that wholeness comes when we understand the victory we have in Christ then we set others free.
Even in the practical, like opening our hearts to the hungry, we will find the power of the Kingdom.
Wholeness and power are found in Christ and then living out that freedom. It’s not about the “bless me” club for ourselves. It is about finding wholeness, then carrying that wholeness to the world.
