In Mark 10 we have the story of the rich young ruler. He’s done well. He’s worked on. He truly wants to do what is right.

Jesus knows it. He looks at him and loves him. He sees this man is on track for the Kingdom. But there is an obstacle.

“You are lacking one thing.”

I have a feeling if Jesus were standing in front of me he would be saying, “You are lacking a long list of things.”

Nevertheless, the question does come to us: What is keeping us from following Christ?

The rich young man couldn’t give up his wealth.

If Jesus were to come to you and say, “Here it is: I need this from you. Okay? Let’s go!” would that thing hold you back?

We need to have Jesus come and do inventory. It’s a painful, but needed process. Don’t let one thing… or any thing hold you back.

It’s time to be ALL IN.
